Corporate Social Responsibility
At Matheson, we encourage and promote a culture of giving back to our community, and we empower our people to do so. We have a vision for how we want to engage with our community and we will continue the progress we have made over the past few years.
Our CSR committee brings together a diverse group of employees and partners from across Matheson, representing a range of interests, who oversee engagement with our local communities.
Our CSR vision is:
- to provide meaningful educational programmes, work readiness skills and opportunities to our local communities
- to build career expectations in the young people from our local communities and, as an inclusive employer, to open up routes to meaningful employment
- to partner with our clients and communities to contribute to wider CSR and pro bono initiatives
- to be a socially responsible workplace, promoting a culture of volunteerism that provides employees with the opportunity to contribute to making a real impact
Pro Bono Pledge
In November 2020, Matheson was a founding signatory to Pro Bono Pledge Ireland, an initiative which calls on legal professionals to commit to promote access to justice by providing free legal assistance to those in need.
